Reach Ministry is a community of volunteers making a powerful impact in areas of the city that many have written off as “hopeless”. Our weekly outreach events & volunteer projects create opportunities to pour hope into these areas and see real lives change.
We provide meals, emergency supplies, and resources for our friends living in transition. In six years of doing so, we’ve built trust within the unhoused community, and many individual friendships. This trust has allowed us to sow seeds of hope, and walk alongside people on their journey to restoration.
We believe there are deep core issues keeping people on the streets, and that homelessness is a symptom. The fix needs to come from the inside, not the outside, and we believe the fix is a relationship with Jesus. We see this reflected in countless testimonies of friends who have successfully transitioned off the streets and rebuilt their lives. Many of them serve with us today.
As we grow, more exciting volunteering opportunities are opening up, and we will be making these new opportunities available on this page. Find a list of current volunteer opportunities and ways to get involved below!
Each week, we set up tables in Pioneer Square, Seattle to distribute meals and other supplies for the homeless. These supplies mainly consist of food, hygiene packs, and clothing. As we meet these tangible needs, we see doors continue to open to serve people’s deeper needs.
