Love Your Neighbor in Seattle
“Serving with Reach made me realize that you don’t have to go to another country to do God’s work—there are people right here who need Jesus!”
Local Mission Trips In Seattle
When the youth group from New Song Church came out to serve on a Saturday morning, they were moved by their own ability to make an impact. The need is so great on the streets of Seattle, but the Reach team is making a difference, and anyone can be a part of it! It is wonderful to go on mission trips overseas to aid our brothers and sisters around the world, but we cannot neglect good works toward our own neighbors.
If you or someone you know has been looking for a way to help people in a practical way that honors God and builds up the community in your area, join the growing family of Reach volunteers making a difference in Seattle, Tacoma, and beyond!
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” – Matthew 9:35-38
Reach Ministry has experienced the profound impact of loving our neighbors locally. This approach opens the door for individuals to become friends and active members of the community. Growing in faith and discipleship thrives when connected to a family of believers who are consistently present, offering opportunities for connection and fellowship.
It all begins with loving those around us. By reaching out to neighbors who face challenging and overwhelming circumstances, we can demonstrate the power of Jesus that brings true freedom and transformation. Starting mission work in our own neighborhoods gives us the opportunity to witness God’s work firsthand, transforming not only individual lives but entire communities.
